The Common Fibers 3D printer small build plate is made from Toray T300 carbon fiber and high temperature epoxy. This 235x235 build plate is durable and chemical resistant, while providing superior adhesion for most materials. Designed to perfectly fit the Ender 3 printer, our carbon fiber build plate is specifically engineered so that prints can be removed effortlessly with a simple flex. Available in either 1mm or 2mm thickness, these build plates are an upgrade to traditional aluminum and steel plates, and are a direct replacement for glass and polycarbonate plates. The 1mm weighs approximately 85grams and the 2mm weighs in at approximately 167grams. Each small 3D printer build plate has a gloss surface on one side and a matte surface on the other, allowing for fine tuning the build adhesion for a given material. In addition, the 235mm by 235mm carbon fiber flexible build plate is created with aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the same material found in the world’s best airplanes, rockets, and vehicles, and will last through thousands of prints. With excellent thermal conductivity, our high-tech carbon fiber 3D printer build plates have a maximum recommended bed temperature of 130° C and a maximum nozzle temperature of 300° C. Carbon fiber build plates are not compatible with inductive sensors. For additional recommended use information, please visit our FAQ page.
